Everyone is scared these days , worried about their jobs ,businesses ,family members ,about themselves .They have all the reasons in the world to be but being mentally down will not do you any good infarct it might do you more harm than the virus itself . What can you do so ?
- Connect with others talk to your friends ,family members at least once everyday ,tell them that you are worried about them ,trust me there is no shame in looking for comfort in others during a time of crisis
- If you dont have a habit of writing your feelings and thoughts down ,now is a good time ,trust me this helps .I used to do this during the time when I had suicidal thoughts and depression , it helped alot .
- Exercise at home ,exercising have many benefits to the mental well being. I know you are trapped in and you cant even go to the gym ,but working out at home can actually be helpful . All you have to do is do some push ups ,go for a jog (if its allowed by law ) ,and do some weights ( you can get some weights from the kmart or something ,)
- Help others heal , you have to realize that you are not alone in this problem ,lot of other people around you are feeling scared and lost ,JUST LIKE YOU .Reach out to them ,help them reduce stress and anxiety ,talk to them ,in doing so you will also find some inner peace .
- Try to do meditation exercises it will help you calm your mind ,panicking will not help you achieve anything .
- Have hope, people are working day and night to fight this virus ,one day all of this will be over ,so have hope .WE GOT THIS
- Work towards your goals and dreams ,this does not give you an excuse to shy away from your responsibilities .NO!! This is the time to read up on books that you missed ,make those content that you couldn't ,update your CV or portfolio.
